The Group

About us

The Solid-State Nuclear Magnetic Resonance group belongs to the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry (LPC) which is part of the Department of Chemistry and Applied Biosciences (D-CHAB) of ETH Zurich.

This research group is led by Professor Dr. Beat H. Meier. More information on our group can be found on the People page.

Research

The central goal of our research is to use and develop solid-state NMR techniques to study materials and biological systems, as well as fundamental phenomena in physical chemistry.
Check out our Research page for more details. A list of research articles can be found in the Publications page.

Education

We offer semester, PhD and post doctoral projects in solid-state NMR, and teach classes in several domains of spectroscopy.
Go to the Education page for details.
